I've always felt a deep connection to our city. This isn't just my hometown—it's my community, my family, and the place that's shaped who I am.

Whether it's been sharing knowledge about digital literacy, offering guidance on financial wellness, or promoting healthy living, Tacoma has shaped me into the kind of person that uplifts those around me, no matter my vocation.

But something has always drawn me back to barbering.

I picked up my first pair of clippers half a decade ago, cutting hair for friends and family. What started as a way to help my neighbors feel confident soon grew into a love for the craft itself—the art of a clean fade, the satisfaction of a well-groomed beard, and, most importantly, the conversations that came with each cut.

Barbering became a way to connect, to serve, and to give back in a personal, meaningful way.That’s why I decided to open The Original Tacoma Barbershop.

Here, it’s not just about the haircuts—it’s about community, authenticity, and taking pride in where we come from. I wanted to create a space that felt classic yet inviting, a reflection of the groovy, blue-collar spirit of Tacoma. A place where people can come as they are, feel at home, and leave not just looking sharp, but also feeling valued.

My journey to opening this shop is rooted in my love for this city, and my goal is simple: to keep serving my neighbors, one quality haircut at a time.
